Information Collection

Unique Embroidery only collects and stores information necessary to process an online order. This information includes contact information for the purchaser, billing information for the purchaser, information about the delivery method to be used, and details about the product selection and decoration.

This information is only stored when an order is placed. Internet users who are browsing the catalog are not required to provide any personal information.

Unique Embroidery also collects the following information from all of its users for marketing and general analysis purposes: the home server domain names, type of client computer, files downloaded, search engine used, operating system, and type of Web browser of visitors to a Unique Embroidery storefront.

Children

Unique Embroidery does not sell products for purchase by children. We do however sell children’s products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may use a Unique Embroidery storefront only with involvement of a parent or guardian.

Use of Information Collected/Disclosure to Third Parties

Unique Embroidery only uses information collected for the purposes of order processing and fulfillment. It is not currently the practice or Unique Embroidery to release or sell any of its order information to third parties for any reason, with the exception of validating credit card/billing information.

Use of Cookies

Unique Embroidery does use non-persistent cookies extensively throughout its online catalog, and checkout applications. Non-persistent cookies do not write any information to the users hard drive. The information is stored in the browser’s memory only for the duration of the users visit to the storefront. Once a users session has expired, the information is erased from the client machine, not to be stored in any way.

The purpose of the non-persistent cookies, is to identify configuration about the storefront that the user is visiting, and not to hold personal information about the user. A non-persistent cookie is also used to identify a users shopping cart during a session.

Persistent cookies are used only for site administrators, and are not used in any way for the average storefront shopper.

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. Credit card information is stored in an encrypted format and is available only to Unique Embroidery site administrators. Even the storefronts themselves do not have access to this information. Please be advised, however, that the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to or from Unique Embroidery via this site or e-mail cannot be guaranteed. Accordingly, Unique Embroidery is not responsible for the security of information transmitted via the Internet or other global computer networks.

Opt-Out Right

As stated above, Unique Embroidery does not currently provide stored customer information to third parties. However, visitors may opt-out of having their personally identifiable information used by Unique Embroidery for secondary purposes, disclosed to third parties, or used by Unique Embroidery or third parties to send promotional correspondence to the visitor by contacting Unique Embroidery via postal mail, e-mail, or telephone at the addresses and numbers listed at the beginning of this section.
